The WASH Mission by Shrachi

WASH stands for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and is a major public health issue in most developing countries. A global concept, recognised by the UN in its Millennium Development Goals.

We, as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, aim to provide environment-friendly and affordable access to WASH to thousands of people who require healthier living and working conditions. As a big step in this direction, we have introduced a new range of Aerobic Bio-toilets, named ECO CLEAN and have taken up projects to provide affordable water supply and purification systems, hand washing stations and sanitary napkin vending machines and incinerators.

Not only do we provide the infrastructure, but we also provide behavioural training, capacity building and demand generation programs to sustain and ensure wider growth and acceptance. We also explore opportunities of integrating Bio-digester technology in septic tanks and leach pit toilet system.

With our world-class infrastructure, collective expertise and nationwide network, we now want to achieve new heights of success in the sanitation industry as well.

Our WASH projects provide Measurable Social Impact through Aerobic Bio Toilet Installations and Behavioural Training, leading to Open Defecation Free India.

Our CSR Projects meet the CSR objectives like:

  • Eradication of infant mortality through prevention of waterborne diseases
  • Women empowerment through better health and hygiene
  • Environment upgradation and conservation of ground water
  • Education, health and hygiene for school students
